fix you When you try your best but you don't succeed When you get what you want but not what you need When you feel so tired but you can't sleep Stuck in reverse And the tears come streaming down your face When you lose something you cannot replace When you love someone but it goes to waste COULD IT BE WORSE? Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you And high up above or down below When you're too in love to let it go But if you never try you'll never know Just what you're worth Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you Tears stream down your face When you lose something you cannot replace Tears stream down your face And I Tears stream down your face I promise you I will learn from your mistakes Tears stream down your face And I Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you. coldplay lyric how nice to sing it! thanks to musicaparabajar.blogspot.com and i saw many lyrics over internet that say "i promise you i will learn form my mistakes", but listening the song and trying to do my best at pronunciation... i am sure it said "i promise you i will learn from YOUR mistakes", what makes sense, understanding the concept of the lyric i guess. cosmica, 6/9/07 10:27

performatics In a curious experiment, the world-famous classical violinist Joshua Bell played as an incognito street busker at the Metro station L'Enfant Plaza in Washington, D.C. on January 12, 2007. Among 1097 people who passed by, only one recognized him and only a couple more were drawn to his music. However, every single child who passed by attempted to stop and listen, before being hastened on by their parents. Benjamin Franklin was a busker of sorts. He composed songs, poetry and prose about the current political situation and went out in public and performed them. He would then sell printed copies of them to the public. He was dissuaded from busking by his father who convinced him the stigmas that some people attach to busking were not worth it. It was this experience that helped form his beliefs in free speech which he wrote about it in his journals. Before the printing press was invented, books were extremely rare and expensive. History and current events were communicated by minstrels and troubadours or the community griots and storytellers. When the printing press was invented the majority of the population could not read and many of the early news events were put in to printed verse on broadsides and sung and then sold as this account by Ben Franklin humorously exhibits. Street performances and the free press are historically connected and intertwined. "Those who would give up essentail liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Ben Franklin cosmica, 16/8/07 1:12

Oh the police! Giant steps are what you take Walking on the moon I hope my legs dont break Walking on the moon We could walk for ever Walking on the moon We could live together Walking on, walking on the moon Walking back from your house Walking on the moon Walking back from your house Walking on the moon Feet they hardly touch the ground Walking on the moon My feet dont hardly make no sound Walking on, walking on the moon Some may say Im wishing my days away, no way And if its the price I pay, some say Tomorrows another day, youll stay I may as well play cosmica, 15/8/07 20:23
